Domingo Molina Torrontes 2021
Our Native White, Torrontes from Salta
Torrontés is a white indigenous Argentine wine grape variety, producing fresh, dry aromatic wines with moderate acidity, smooth texture, and mouthfeel as well as distinctive peach and apricot aromas on the nose.
Produced by Domingo Molina bodega from Cafayate Valley, Salta with sustainable farming practices. Hand-harvested from 30-year old vines in a desertic-alluvial soil, over 300 days of sun, scarce rainfall, and wide temperatures.
Domingo Molina Torrontes has a yellow pale with greenish tones. Complex aromas of tropical fruits and citric notes with a hint of jasmine. Elegant and well-structured wine.
“Very perfumed nose with some pears and faint honey. Floral and grapey undertones. Good texture on the weighty mid-palate. Quite a full-bodied Torrontes with balanced, refreshing acidity. 5% fermented in French oak barrels of first and second use. On lees for 4-5 months. Drink now.” 90pts James Suckling
