Domingo Molina Merlot 2017
“Tomato leaves, red chili pepper and some dried red plums and earthiness. Ripe tannin, but the palate lacks some concentration to hold it up. Drink now.” James Suckling. 100% Merlot. High altitude wines (2400 masl) from Yacochuya and Ruupestre Valley, Salta, Argentina. Best served 16°-18° C.
Lively and deep ruby colour. Diverse aromas of cassis, currants and blackberries, with accents of tomato leaves and paprika notes. Light and fresh with lots of spices, easy to drink with a balanced personality. The novelty lies in the expression of the fruit without signs of warmth or over ripeness.
